Videoreport of the international festival “VIVA/Performance Lab Cosenza” - partnership project of the city council of Cosenza, MAXXI Museo Nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, Rome and the University of Calabria - curated by Cristiana Perrella and Tania Bruguera.
The festival was held mostly outdoors in the historical city centre of Cosenza in December 2012.
On this occasion, three videos were produced:
- a general introduction to “VIVA/Performance Lab”, 40 minutes in length with a commentary by Cristiana Perrella and Tania Bruguera, and short statements by artists Yoshua Okón, Núria Güell, Minerva Cuevas, Francesca Grilli and Aníbal López and the 'under 35' MaraM, Alessandro Fonte e Shawnette Poe, Franco Ariaudo, Ioana Paun, Diego Cibelli, Leonardo Zaccone, Letizia Calori & Violette Maillard;
- two 5/6-minute interviews dedicated to the international artists who participated in the festival: Adrian Paci and Cesare Pietroiusti, which were made available on the Artribune website.
